Our bags only grow more beautiful with time, but sometimes they need a little help along the way. We recommend treating your bag with natural leather balm a couple of times a year or as needed.
If you've gotten a stain or if the bag has become dirty, it can be cleaned with a leather soap. Feel free to contact us if you're unsure — we're happy to help.
Easy returns & exchanges
14 days to return

How to clean your bag:
- You will need a cotton cloth or sponge and a leather conditioner.
– Remove dirt or dust with a cotton cloth. Be careful to go over the entire bag and make sure not to rub the surface (grain) too hard.
– Apply leather conditioner to the bag using a cotton cloth or sponge. Start by practicing on the underside of the bag if you are unsure. Make sure to treat exposed parts extra carefully, for example, all edges and handles.
– Done! Let the bag air dry at room temperature, preferably overnight. Then, gently polish away any excess conditioner to restore some luster to the leather.
We recommend that you treat the bag with leather conditioner a couple of times a year or as needed.
If you have a stain or if the bag has become dirty, it can be washed with a leather soap. Contact us if you feel unsure and we will help you.
Contains coconut oil, lanolin oil, and beeswax.
We offer a 14-day return policy. Exchanges are free of charge, but a 15 EUR return fee applies for refunds. If the bag is in stock, the delivery time within Sweden is 1–3 days; otherwise, it is 2–3 weeks. If you're in a hurry, feel free to contact us – we’ll do our best to help. You can call us at +46 (0) 10-4580460 or email info@sandain.com.
You don’t need to treat your bag before using it – we’ve already done that for you. However, it’s a good idea to condition it regularly so that the leather ages beautifully. You can read more about how to care for your bag here: Leather Care

When you buy a bag, we donate calves to families in need in Bangladesh through our The Cow Funder Initiative. Our vision is to create a new way of consuming, where you and your bag are part of something bigger.
Our bags are inspired by our long history and our Northern origins. Starting in 1899, we learnt to master the art of making leather using only three natural ingredients: spruce bark, river water, and time.
