Britta
Britta is a tribute to our heritage. The bag draws inspiration from Böle's classic models Lady Executive Bag and Day Bag , but has been interpreted in a more contemporary form. With its slimmer size and removable shoulder strap, it is created to work equally well in everyday life as in more formal contexts. Britta carries the Böle logo, making the bag a unique joint production between Sandain and Böle and a direct link back to the place where it all began.

Legacy
We know leather. Sandain’s story begins with Böle Tannery, located just south of the Arctic Circle in Sweden. Starting in 1899, we learnt to master the art of making leather using only three natural ingredients: spruce bark, river water, and time. From that leather we made all kinds of goods ranging from beak boots to home decoration and bags. This legacy has now been passed down four generations. The last 125 years is a journey that has taken us to many places. Fifty years ago, we went to Bangladesh and established the foundation for what is now our own factory. More recently we went to Stockholm, where we established our first flagship store. And the journey goes on.
